This card seems to use a AGP or (Accelerated Graphics Port / Advanced Graphics Port). So *********** board has to have this type of slot in it. This is a graphics only port so only a graphic card can be in it. What type of mother board do you have?

Windows does not see the Nvidia G100 video card in the PCI-E slot. Does not even show up in device manager. Tried to install drivers, but the driver installer says that I don't have any compatible hardware...

Do you have another computer to try it out in? It might be that either the card isn't working, the PCI slot is not working, or the card isn't compatible with the motherboard.

Need graphic card upgrade for Dell Dimension 4500 w/ pixel shader

This is an older machine that has a 4x AGP port for graphics cards. The good news is that cards for this slot are cheap...usually in the 30-50 dollar range. The downside is that you wont get the greatest performance out of them. I would recommend going with a Geforce FX 5200.

Need new video card

that is a 4x AGP motherboard..about the best graphics card I"ve used for that would be a nvidia 6600gt-AGP.. it will run circles around the 5200 or 5500 and you can find them for close to the same price.
hope this helps in your decision..

Installing New Graphics Card. How do you disable the onboard GC?

To disable the onboard graphics go into your CMOS settings and in there you should find something that says Graphics choices should be onboard or add on or some other form. It all depends on who made your BIOS. As far as a sound card not sure.

Can not load drivers into a (GeForce FX 5200/5600) VGA Card.

goto nvidia website and download GeForce FX 5200/5600 drivers and install drivers if you still can't install please backup all your files then redo you operating system from scratch then install drivers you downloaded from nvidia first then the rest of your drivers for your board.

note: when you have the correct drivers for your card the screen will go blank then return to normal.

good luck on this one
