Hello:
If you are running Windows XP try this:
On the welcome screen, press Ctrl + Alt + Del simultaneously twice. A log on windows will appear. On user field, type "Administrator" (without the quotation marks) and just press enter. If there is no password for this account, you should log on. Then go to Control Panel / User accounts and choose yours, and erase your password. Restart Windows and no password will be required.
If Win XP, as Administrator, ask you for a password then you should use a password cracker software. Also, If you use Windows 7 and Vista, the Administrator account, by default is disabled, so, download the Ophcrack software from here:
http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/.
Click on the "live cd" link. Burn this .iso file on a CD. Power on your Laptop and press F12 key to choose boot from CD-ROM drive and select "Ophcrack Automatic..", after that your Live CD should start and an utility will begin to search for all passwords that windows would have. Sure, you will find yours, and type it down.
I hope this helps. Thanks
Turn the system off... after you see the acer screen hold down the F8 key.. you will then see options for Safe mode... go into safe mode choose the Administration option... from there go to control panel then users... you should be able to change or remove your password from there... let me know if you need anymore help.
