Toshiba Refurbished 44MB MFM 3.5 HARD DRIVE Floppy Drive

Conner CP-3044

By Joey2 - usenet poster

Hi netters,

I have a conner hard disk, model CP-3044, I think it is about 44MB.  Lately, it
seemed to have failed and I am trying to find a replacement.  Would appreciate
if someone could tell me the number of cylinder, sectors etc of this hard disk
and whether it is an IDE, EIDE or whatever.

Incidently, the hard disk comes from my portable PC, an OLIVETTI model M211V.
I have invested heavily on this machine over the years and do not want to see
it go to waste because of the hard disk.  If possible I would like to put in a
larger hard disk, but the PC manual says 100MB is the largest.  Can I push the
limit higher?  How can I reach Olivetti international or for that matter does
conner have an internet address where I can seek help? :]

Thanks in advance.

Andrew Sim.
