this is a problem for at least a thousand fixya customers. unfortunately until the manufacturer releases a supported vista driver . this cam is obsolete. hardware companies got with microsoft and actually paid them to insure most of the older stuff would not work on vista. i doubt there will ever be a driver for that model cam ever.
Make sure the cam is compatible with vista.
Uninstall cam in control panel add/remove
then unplug cam reinstall cam software and plug cam in when instructed or during restart
please let me know if this helped we may need to try a new solution

Okay you can try and go on the internet and see if there is a driver download for vista for your cam.
This usually works
If not I would probably suggest an updated camera since vista was made for newer versions.Just make sre your new cam supports vista
There is still plenty of hardware issues with Vista, so go to the cam or Windows web site for related issues and see if there is a patch.
Make sure the cam is also set up correctly and use windows live if your'e still using MSN.
You can also try installing Windows XP drivers as they are sometimes accepted and work.
