Push the "Menu" button on the front or side of your Dell
monitor. The button's icon resembles a miniature monitor. This will open
the main monitor setting menu. Push the button again to exit the main
menu and open the OSD menu.
Push the "Down Arrow" button on the monitor to scroll
through the OSD menu. Stop at "Factory Reset." Push the "Menu" button to
open the factory reset menu.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Position Settings
Only" to reset the monitor's horizontal and vertical screen settings.
Press the "Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Color Settings Only"
to reset the monitor's red, blue and green color settings. Press the
"Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "All Settings" to
restore the monitor to its original factory settings. Press the "Menu"

Push the "Up Arrow" button to select "Exit" to leave the

What is the status of your other supplies such as the transfer belt or fuser. You can try printing the Print Quality diagnostics pages which will tell you if one cartridge in particular is bad. To print, on the control panel use the down arrow until display reads "diagnostics", press checkmark and then press down arrow until "PQ Diagnostics" appears in display and then press checkmark again. The pages that print utilize each cartidge seperately so if one cartidge is bad it will be obvious which one. Also make sure that your firmware is up to date on the printer.
First let me state that the network cards on these printers are notoriously bad and fail very often. Before attempting any settings, use the arrow keys to bring up the information menu and then printer a configuration. If you have a network cable plugged in then the configuraiton page will print both the basic pirnter configuration page and the Jet Direct status pages which will show the currently set network information. If only one page pirnts then the card is not working, if three pages print the card is working and you will be able to follow the instructions below.
Press the menu button and then use the up and down arrow buttons until "configure device" is shown and press the checkmark. Use the up and down arrows until display reads "EIO" jet direct menu then follow these menu options
Arrow down until display reads TCPip press check.
Arrow down until it reads enable, press checkmark and change option to yes, press checkmark.
Next arrow down to config method press check and then choose DHCP or manual and press check. If you have a router it will automatically assgin an address to your printer when you set it for DHCP, if not, you will need to select manual and then manually input IP address, subnet and gateway.
Once you select manual you will have the option to input the IP address, subnet and gateway using the arrow keys and the checkmark.
Press the green button (with the "check" sign on it), then press the "down" arrow button four times.
The display should read "configure device".
Press the green button again.
Press the down arrow one time? until you see "printing".
Press the green button.
Scroll down to "copies"... it probably reads "3".
Set it back to "1" and then press the green arrow button.

Click on File. Then Click on Print. A box should come up on the first line Name Epsen Properties Click on Properties. Then next Box Read Main Page Setup Effect Etc. Click on Page Setup Then the setting change. Page Size Letter with a drop down arrow V Click on the drop down arrow . On the 6th one is 4*6 Click on it. Then click OK so it keep the setting. You possiblely have a font set wrong in your printer. Push the green check button, arrow down to printing, push the check button again, arrow down to PCL and push the green check button again. Arrow down to Font Source, push check button again and check setting, should be internal. Push the left arrow button till you get back to Font Source and down arrow key to Font Number, all ours are set to 3. Left arrow key back to Font Number and down arrow again to Font Point Size, all of ours are set to 12.00. To get back to ready, uset the left arrow key.
If this is all correct, then it has to be in your software.

then click on the ARROW pointing down for more options. That will show more info, including a drop down menu that will allow you to change page settings, printing settings, etc. For example, if you want to change the printing quality, select "Paper Type/Quality" from that drop down menu and new options will show up allowing you to change the settings of the printer.
