With the call on the line press TRANS/CONF and dial the destination number, talk to the person you want to transfer the call and then press RELEASE to transfer the call. If you want to return to the caller juast press CANCEL.
The phone generates a low beep tone about once every 10 seconds for the
person on hold. This lets them know that they were not hung up on but
at the same time it is not needed if you have music like a typical
office puts on the holding lines. I talked with the manufacturer and
they told me that this feature can not be disabled through programming.
There is however a on-hold aftermarket adapter that can be placed in
front of the music system that will eliminate the tone (Invotel
AudioImage SX4400EZ). The cost we paid for this device was about $200
which has a audio input and in/out plugs for all 4 lines. This aftermarket system is designed to replace the beeps with music you provide through the audio input.
Not unless the phone as 2 lines but u have to call the both people or the person you called can but it go's both ways you just have to press the talk button then call someone then press talk again then call that person then press talk again and you all three should be on the same line
If your telephone doesn't have a transfer button programmed press feature *3, the button you want the transfer button to be, and enter feature 70.
While on the call press the transfer button (or press feature 70) and the extension you want to transfer to.If you want a screened transfer, wait til the extension called answers, and ask if they wish to talk to the caller on the line. if they dont, pick up the caller off hold. if they want to talk to them hang up and they'll recieve the call. If you want to blind transfer, hang up after youpress transfer and dial the extension and they'll get the call without screening.
You can't transfer calls from one handset to another. With both handsets in your posession, you could simply give someone the other one to talk so you could engage in a 3-way conversation. It would also be good to call your local phone provider to get three way calling (a small expense). I use this all the time so I can talk to two other friends at once and we can all make plans together, without having to call, hang up, call the other one, hang up..you get the drill..
hello shaziniaz how to use your call waiting function is when you are on a call or when you are talking to someone on your phone there will be a beeping sound in your ear just tell the person you are talking with to hold on, and must look if the a call coming in you will see hold and answer you put the person on hold and then press answer and talk with person and call waiting after you finish you press back hold and talk back to the person you was talking with before. thank have a lovely day
First dial a number, while talking to that person dial another number, after dialing the another number press redial button, than you can talk to another person but the the first line i.e. the the person you are talking at first will have to wait, he will not be able to hear waht you are talking with the another.in order have a conference than again press re-dial button than you will be able to have a conference.....
While speaking to one person, press the "conf" button... Wait for a beep beep, hit 9 then dial the other number... talk to the new person... press "conf" again... talk to everyone
If you have more than one phone line which I assume that you do -if one party has not completely hung up the handset after putting someone on hold when you pick it up on your end you will hear that beeping noise that you are talking about. Have them pick back up the line while you are on it and replace the handset again on thier phone to disconnect completely.
