I went swimming with my w810i. It was in the water for about 10 min. When I discovered it, I immediately pulled the battery out and dried it out for two days using a hair dryer. I did not seem very wet inside. I fired it up, everything works fine -- BUT it can not find my cell service. The sim card works fine in another phone.

Dropped my sonny ericsson W800I in the bath

A basic equation is : Water + Phone = Dead Phone Warm water and a phone is really bad news, the level of corrosion inside the phone after a warm bath is significant. You could try to disassemble the phone and clean it on the inside, but you should not get your hopes up. In many cases, repairing the phone (after water damage) is much more expensive than getting a brand new one.
