We just got the apollo horizon 2 over head projector and it keep shorting out the bulbs. it did not come with a manuel so im trying to fix it on my own can anyone help me????

Hi! This is a pretty common problem with overhead projectors. At the top of the arm that's over the unit, there should be a lens unit. The unit needs to be rotated so that one lens points down, and one lens points towards the screen. Once the lens is rotated properly, the lens unit is moved up or down in order to focus. There's usually a knob to turn to move the lens up or down.
you have at least 2 issues with your optical engine. both are due to excessive dust and heat. the fly-eye (diffuser) lens is fried, as is the light filter on one of the lcd panels. unfortunately, you cannot purchase individual parts for the optical engine. you'll have to replace the whole thing.
