I am trying to download a driver for Windows Vista, Microtek ScanMaker 3630....can you please assist me?

    Currently to date I have not located a driver for the microtek scanmaker 3630 for vista. I am having issues with several external devices operating in Windows Vista.....I may have to consider loading Windows XP. Although I am enjoying Vista, the roadblocks are becoming frustrating.

I was able to used my ScanMaker 3630. Here are the steps:

1) Update your vista to service pack1
2) Update the Scanner by going to device manager then right click the device or scanner w/ ? sign then update.
3) Insert your cd, select the options to search the hard drive then vista will be the one to select the driver. Vista will select the win95 driver but don't worry it will work!

May I have a copy of the installation cd? Maybe you can save a copy to iso and put it on rapidshare/zshare/megaupload. that would be a god send for me. thanks.

I HAVE A WINDOW VISTA AND I NEED THE INSTALLER...
Try this link, it should give you a webpage where you can download the installer. Let me know how it works for you. Mind you, it's for Windows XP, there don't appear to be Vista-specific drivers for this model scanner.

try your driver you have for this it might work.some driver for xp works on vista i founld out but if not.go to driverguide,com to look for one.you might find one there
