Does anyone know how to reset the waste ink pad? I would like to still use my printer to scan to my computer but it will not allow me to do anything because of this error. Epson sure is a ripe off. First they charge an arm and a leg for the ink cartridges and now they set a waste ink error so the printer is more or less a paper weight. I would greatly appreciate it if any one knows how to reset this. Thank you

If your Epson WorkForce WF-7610 printer shows error message "The Printer's Ink Pads at the end of Their service life" and Epson WorkForce WF-7610 printer has a red light blinking problem: You should be download and reset Epson WorkForce WF-7610 printer Waste Ink Pads Counter with Epson WorkForce WF-7610 Resetter.
Go to this link, you should be able to download the resetter and follow the procedures step by step.
If all the Led's/Light's are blinking/flashing on an Epson Printer,
that indicates "Maintenance Request Error". The maintenance request
error is actually a "Waste Ink Pad Overflow Error". Normally your
remedy is to replace the Waste Ink Pads with a new ones and
then reset the INTERNAL WASTE INK PAD COUNTER...The need to replace the
waste ink pads is measured by the amount of ink uses, which is
determined based on the number of Head Drive Pulses, accumulated in the
waste ink counter. When the total quantity of ink deposited onto the
waste ink pads, during cleaning and flushing, reaches the set limit,
the printer generates a maintenance request error and stops printing.
If you just reset the counter and don't replace the pads, then your
printers old pads will eventually overflow and normally start leaking
ink out the bottom of your printer.I
know this information is not much help, but at least you will know what
your ERROR is.
Part are end life cycle : waste ink pad full. Need to reset waste ink counter. SSc ver 4.3 support RX 620 and 640. U can try using printer model RX 640. Unfortunately your only option at present is to take the printer to an Epson Service center and have it serviced to replace the waste ink absorbers/pads.
If you can afford to wait you could mothball (store) the printer and wait for a reset utility to become available for your model printer. Once you have that you could then install an external waste ink kit (google: waste ink epson).
