Computer would not turn on or off. I replaced the power supply but that's not it. It seems to be the ON/OFF button; when I separated the inside from the outside and pressed it, sometimes the light came on for a split second and the fan would turn, but then all stopped again. Is this fixable, and if so, how?
thx

Hi,
Everythings Fixable. If you locate the power switch Cable To Motherboard. Should be marked ( pwr on Motherboard )
use a hard-drive jumper. small plastic link block. to join the 2 connections on the board itself. ( Jumper )
now plug the mains cable in, if it runs. then you know it,s the switch thats faulty. you can replace this with any similar make break switch. alternatively. if the case has a seperate reset switch. use that instead.
