Question about Creative Labs Zen Neeon MP3 Player
Hi. I am trying to repair or restore my Creative Zen Neeon since like other people, it freezes in the "Creative" logo. I cannot play music with it but I can still use it as a portable device.
I tried every solution I could find - reformat, reset etc... The latest one I've tried is the firmware upgrade but the upgrade kept on telling me that "connection with portable lost" and "device upgrade failed." Could this because I am running Windows Vista???
Your help would be very much appreciated =)
Reset your player, then the player will work fine! To reset your player, push the end of thin object into the "RESET" button.

go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall
reboot let windows reinstall them
Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfix
