Problem is the insulation on the spark wires is dried and cracked. I bet you can hear the sparking coming from inside the unit, rather than where you see the spark, correct? The excess voltage is grounding inside, rather than thru the flame. I believe you pull the burners off and tap those brass rings with a screwdriver/hammer (or buy the correct tool). Then you can lift the entire top off.

Came into the kitchen this morning and one of the igniters was clicking away. Cleaned all the igniters. Still clicking away even with the gas off

This is usually caused by water spillage getting into one of the control switches directly below the knobs. It may have gotten in it the night before, but took awhile before causing the ignition system to activate. Let it dry out a day or so and it usually stops.

I have a five burner stove top the ignitore just stopped working. What could be the problem

The ignnition switch will just stop working. Go to your local gas fitter and ask for a pietezzo switch, take yours along if you can, its easily accesable from underneath with a 10 or 12mm spanner.

Some Burners Will Not Ignite

probably a worn wire to the electrode or a cracked ignitor. you are faced with taking off the hobtop and looking - no easy solution. you should not do this unless you are confident and don't interupt the gas path
