HI I just bought a new phone and put my sim card in and turned it on for the very first time and it's asking for a pin code. I put in my sim card pin and that's not right.. no idea what it's asking for? tried all these codes with the imie and nothings working :( thanks

The PIN and PUK are two security features that the service provider has given to you. The defaults are 12345 and 00000000 (eight zeros). However, given wrong more than three times locks the SIM and renders it useless. It has then to be replaced by the service provider for a small fee to retain the number.
