Won't power up when clutch is engaged for mower deck

Something is binding in the mower deck area, perhaps and stuck bearing, bearing needs greased, stick or stone or big clod of grass caught between blade and deck or belt and pulley..
Disconnect to spark plug, and use a stick or something to spin blades manually. MAKE SURE spark plug is disconnected before EVER messing with blades. Motor could spin one time around accidentally and cut off your fingers. Disconnect plug wire and or remove plug to be absolutely sure before messing with blades. I'll say it again REMOVE plug wire from plug before inspecting blade area.

Euro Pro X 1750 psi Pressure washer won't start. It's plugged in and water is attached. it was fine last time i used it.Now it makes a short noise like it wants to start, but doesn't.

Check the nozzle to see if is plugged. If water can" pass thru , it won't read a water pressure drop and turn on the pump motor.

We are having issues with knowing the proper throttle to drive our Cub Cadet. We have 3.2 acres and my sister and I disagree on the throttle speed. I believe if we run it to the rabbit the lawn mower will...

chester if you read your owners manual, all the mowers with the hydrostatic transmission advise you to run the motor at full speed and adjust vehicle speed with the transmission. that gives you maximum speed at the blades which is what you are actually doing and your cut will be best. the motors have governors on them to keep you from over revvning them. and the motor has a built in fan which pumps more fresh air through it the faster it spins.

suppose if you want to do it a favor operate it with the cowling removed, won't be pretty or streamlined anymore but the engine will be happier. modern trend to cover the engine is silly, look back at lawn tractors 30 or so years ago and the sides were wide open like a farm tractor to provide cross ventilation.

When I engage the blades nothing happens. Any ideas?

I have a YTH 150 with a similar problem. The mower has an electrically powered clutch which is activated when you engage the blade button. If the drive belt has no tension on it, engaging the clutch doesn't do anything because the drive wheel will just spin but the blades won't. Look for broken tension springs on the mower deck and replace.

How to remove spool from cap on a reflex plus strimmer

Usually these trimmer spools are retained with a threaded 'knob' with serrated edges. The problem usually is that the knob won't turn - or so it seems. You will have to hold the spool itself while attempting to turn the knob off - turn the knob counter-clockwise!! Remember - righty tighty, lefty loosie! I usually need to turn the knob with a large pair of alligator pliers to get its grip broken, then I can turn it off by hand. Good luck with it!

The string gets caught and is jammed. Give the cover a quarter tun to remove it. Then, pull the spool off with the plastic cutting string. Unwind it a bit and rewind it so it's straightened out. Then feed the two ends out the holes on the side when you put it back.
