Question about HP LaserJet 1022 Printer

1 Answer

Looses power The printer just looses power while it is still turned on. You can turn the power button off and back on and it will come back on. This is the second 1022 printer with this problem. I bought a 3 year care pack with the original printer and HP replaced it when it started having this problem. It has only been a couple of months and now I am having the same problem with the second printer.

Are you sure that it isn't just the energy saver kicking in. If so just send a print job to it and it will come back to life.

Thanks Jason

Common for this printer. Instead of setting it up as a network printer, attach it locally to a machine and share it. It will be much more stable.

I have a c410a premium hp all in one printer. I cleared out the paper jam, but now the feeder doesn't work and the cartridge box rests on the left side.

Hello.
Try unplugging the printer from the power, manually moving the cartridge box to the correct position and turning the printer back on.
Sometimes the printer looses its positioning of the heads and this can sometimes help.

Canon replaced cartriges and keep on saying ink absorber full?

Hello,

You have to reset your waste ink absorber by:

1) Unplug power cord.
2) Press and hold power button.
3) While holding power button, insert back power cord. You will notice that the power button indicator lights up upon inserting power cord.
4) Release power button then start printer.

That will solve your "The waste ink absorber is full" message.

Downside is: you may have to do this frequently if your printer looses power. You will understand what i mean.

A thumbs up! is greatly appreciated. :)
