Re: acer aspire 5612zwlmi web cam and mouse pad
Mouse pad jumping can be common symptom of Synaptics pads (is it Synaptics?) - look for driver and install it.
Also, try switching it on from off and do NOT touch the pad for several minutes.
Common symptom when people just use very light pressure on mouse pad within first few minutes. Latest driver should fix.
also try pressing whole palm down on touchpad for several seconds - this can reset the software on some touchpads.
As for webcam, disconnect it, uninstall drivers, re-install drivers and then re-connect it. If it is built in then go to Device Manager - Hardware and find the device - click on uninstall driver - then re-install the driver.

first check you have installed all the web cam driver came with your notebook than check the control panel> device manager > imaging devices acer crystal eye web cam if there is a yellow ! . then re install the driver...
Hi, In all likelyhood, the audio driver is not installed. Check your drivers by going to your device manager and look for devices which have a yellow dot next to them. You will find device manager by right clicking "my computer" and choosing "properties". If you find a yellow dot next to your audio card, go to the Acer web site at: www.acer.com and select your product from the drop down lists. Regards, Graemevm
Download the driver for your cam from Acer just to make sure you have the latest driver. Then goto control panel, system then device manager and uninstall the web cam. Then run the driver package and wait for the hardware wizard to install thedrivers and the cam. Reboot after it finishes. I hope this helps.
Go here and download the latest driver for the bison cam on your laptop. Once you have it saved, goto control panel, system, device manager and remove/uninstall the cam from the list. Once it's gone, install the driver you downloaded and wait for the hardware wizard to finish reinstalling the cam and drivers then reboot. Also, make sure that you have all of the Acer speciffic software for your laptop. empowering framework, epower management, etc. Believe it or not, it does make a difference with Acer laptops. I hope this helps.
