CPUs do not have drivers. They do not contain LAN, Audio, or Video components. These are part of the motherboard they are installed upon. You need to provide the
motherboard manufacturer, model number, and revision number, along with the specific Operating System you are running. We can then help you find the driver(s) you need.
Your problem is not related to your processor. You need to identify the manufacturer and the type of your network card and search the drivers or, if the lan card is integrated with the mainboard, go to the mainboard manufacturer's site and download the driver from their support/downloads page.
CPU speed does not matter much. AS long as you have Empty PCI Slots, then you are good to go. Sice the system is not that fast, i sugget you buy a 10/100 mbps LAN card.
Well the issue could either be with the bas sectors on hard disk or faulty RAM or a burned capacitor on the motherboard.
The very first thing I would suggest you is to reinstall windows operating system. If the issue persists then run the system with another RAM and observe the performance.
if the issue persists then it could be with the motherboard or the power supply. Manually check the capacitors on the board for any leaking or faulty capcitors.
Driver for your sound card depends on your motherboard or sound card if PCI plugged in type. You should indicate your motherboard make, number and version. Or your sound card make, number and version. So you could be help.
Hello all. I have the same issue. My MB is 845G [P4 2.4 Ghz] and SATA harddisk I need to install is Seagate 250 GB Baracuda with 3.0Gb/s interface, I belive which makes this HD as SATA II. So for this motherboard should I prefer PCI cards which support SATA II over the supports SATA I [these are cheaper].
