I have a RCA p52929 that is missing the convergence menu. If I push menu, #3, there is no #6. I have tested R19722 and R19703 and both are at 750K. Any help would be welcome.

Its the HV transformer, But if your symptom is auto convergence feature gone from the menu. Its not your flyback. Please respond to this same post with your model number and let me know if the auto convergence feature is missing, and I will assist you with the problem.

Thats a very common problem with that model which happens when the flybacks bad solder joint causes an arc which blows the FL231, Diode DL231 and Capacitor CL230 on the deflection board. thats what causes the Auto convergence feature to disappear from the menu options. You can get the Repair kit called the convergence option missing repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com its under the RCA repair kits category and contains the parts plus instructions for the repair.

The picture looks 3D and when you select the menu all writing is in a U shape. The TV is a RCA HDTV and the model # R52WH74YX51. Serial #G402C10DZ, chassis #ITC222A, and was manufactured Oct. 2006.

Its more than likely the FL231 fuse has blown due to carcked solder joints on the flyback. very famous issue with that model if the auto convergence feature is no longer listed under the setup menu then you will need the convergence option missing repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com

U have a soldering iron, solder wick or a desoldering pump, and solders?U know how to do soldering?U can fix this problems like about 20 mins. The convergence fuse part (FL231) is dead.Very common on this model of RCA tvs.U can buy this convergence fuse (FL231) at Ebay.com pretty cheap like $3+ shipping. There 3 small brown or pinkisk sqaure look like caps. The one in the middle is dead. But they're fuses located right side of the Flyback transformer, call a FBT(a big black block of transformer).Resolders the FBT too.

The convergance menue is gone. I need to adjust the convergance badly but it is no longer in the menu

You need to resolder the flyback transformer and replace fuse FL221 off pin 11 of the flyback transformer. The convergence power supply is not coming on so system control thinks a convergence circuit is not installed.

Double images blurred picture with lots of red

If when you go to Menu then setup and Do Not see convergence then you have open fuse FL231 400ma It is on right side of Flyback Transfomer there is 3 of them in a roll it will be middle Fuse But they do not look like fuses they are small brown rectangular looking. Convergence

Go into menu look on setup see if convergence comes up then do auto converg. if you do not see convergence on menu then you have an open fuse FL231 square brown cap next to flyback.

Picture has 3 images, all different colors (red-blue-green) screen looks concave in the middle top & bottom

This is what is known as convergence..(very common)... first question DO you have the "CONVERGENcE" option in your setup menu?.... if you dont there may be a special fuse issue... if not then more than likely it is what is known as convergence power supply issue. you have complete loss of convergence?
