I bought a new card for my D-360. The camera prompts me to card set-up MENU. I scroll to and click on format. Then I click on yes, then I get a caution that reads CAUTION ERASING ALL, after which, CARD ERROR jumps up.

I thought maybe I had a dective card and returned it to place of purchase. I got another card, and the same thing happened. How can I correct this problem?

    Help!!

I am having problems with card set-up. When I scroll to format and click ok, I am prompted to click yes or no. Under format, when Yes is highlighted, message CAUTION, ERASING ALL, appears. When No is highlighted, message goes away. After clicking on yes, CARD ERROR, appears.

I thought there was a problem with the card and returned it to the place of purchase and got another card. The same exact thing happened. Is there a solution for this problem.

    Thanks

Format the card on you camera not the computer, that will delete everything if its still giving problems return to where you bought it for replacement.

Got new olympus memory card, keeps saying card error

Is the memory card the correct capacity? Is it too "big"? ie is it say a 8 gig and maybe your camera only supports 4 gig? I had that problem with my camera-I had bought a memory card which was too high in capacity for it. Check your user manual for the cards and capacity you can use.

Can i use a 1gb xd card in the olympus d-560 zoom ? i get a ''format'' screen, but can't format the card

the reason why you have that error is because this camera will only support up to 256 MB of memory card so the 1 GIG wont really work with it....

New xd cad not working.

The problem is that the largest xD card that your camera can support is an M or H 512mb card. The 1gb or 2gb cards are not compatible. The firmware in the camera cannot support memory storage with that capacity. The camera came out before those cards did and there no plans to upgrade the camera to allow those types of cards to be supported.

D-560

Is that card compatible with that camera. They make HD (high definition) cards (4gig and above) that will only work with newer camera's. Of course, i am speaking of SD cards. But the XD may have a similar feature.
That is the exact error i got when i tried to use an HD card in my 5 year old camera.
Try downgrading to a smaller memory card. Also, is that memory card exactly as the one you have had prior to this?

Fuji FinePix S700 Problem

Try to put it on super macro and see if this will reset the zoom function.
Also try to switch between the settings that allow the digital zoom, as compaired to those settings that only allow optical zoom.
If these do not work, you may have a lens that has been dropped, or is stuck, and may need to be serviced. I have the S700, and have never seen this error before> good luck.
