HP printer won't print

Hi Kathy,

What is the printer model ? Try the step below.

While the printer has power, Disconnect the power cable from back of the printer. Wait for 10 seconds and reconnect. This should fix the issue.

If this does not, try changing the wall socket. If you have connected it to Surge protector, Try connecting to Wall outlet directly.

Hope this will fix the issue.

Regards,
Sean

Good morning, i was printing and the printer shut

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet in the wall. Replug the power cord after at least 10 seconds - bypass any power surge devices or power strips. Replug the power adapter into the printer. Your printer should automatically power on, otherwise, press the power button. If the printer still won't power on, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

Getting error message "Cartridge error"

Hello
Try removing the cartridge and very carefully use a damp paper towel to gently clean the printer head of the cartridge. Do you get any ink when you do this? If you do, try putting the cartridge carefully back into place. Check the socket where the cartridge goes when you do this. Does everything seem to be in order?

Do a power reset (turn the printer off with the off button, unplug it for a full minute, then plug it back into the wall socket.) turn the printer back on.

hope this helps

Canon PIXMA MX860 using an Apple iMAC. Working fine until it started giving a message DPI at 300/300 and now it won't even print.

First, start with power cycling the printer. Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord from the wall socket for 10 minutes, then plug it back in.

If same problem occur, uninstall and then re-install the printer driver.

Good luck!
