Check the unit that's located outside .You need to open it to get to the control board ,there you will see a couple of buss fuses. Check to see if fuses are fine. Do this with the power OFF on disconnect

How many wires for the thermostat do you have? If you tell me I can help. The green flashing, instead of red, in my experience, means a thermostat problem.

SOURCE: air conditioner

I managed to find the people who supplied the unit, it was still under warranty, and they said it was the thermistors (temprature probes, they replaced both of them) It is now working perfectly!

I would first check the condensate drain pipe. This can be done by blowing back into the drainpipe from outside. Not to worry it is not dirty or dangerous. Also make sure that your air filters are clean.

We have just purchased a universal remote for our ducted airwell air con - we need a code for it and airwell isnt listed on the remote

I am sorry if ask wha may seem like a few silly questions, but I need some clarification to assist you better.

-Is this a Residential AC Unit?
-If it is a residential AC unit, where is the thermostat located for this unit?
-Do you know if there is a wall mounted thermistor located on the wall in another room or in the room it cools?

I ask these questions, because generally if the fan coil is mounted in the ductwork, then there isn't always a way of controlling it remotely. Generally, it's controlled by hard-wired thermostat.
If you know it was controlled remotely, then you will need to go the website for the Airwell Fan coil and do a search on programming the remote. I'm sorry there is no short cut for this, you will need to obtain the code from Airwell.

Hope this helped... :D

My m6x06f2a-f is leaking from the front water is coming out the outside of the unit ok . also how do you take the front cover off i removed the 2 screws on the side but can't remove the cover.

Lift the left and right side straight up till you feel each side pop out. Then it comes straight off. I can't find a manual, but this maytag would be a Fedders-Airwell air conditioner with the same model numbers but starting w/ an A instead of an M.

I need to know where i can get a manual on how to set the remote controll for the air conditioner. right now we are turn them on and off every day or when it gets to hot or to cold. i would like to set...

If its for the unit pictured go to http://service.airwell.com.au/airwellsanyoparts/Website%202007%20update/airwell/XV26RCA/ and click on operation instructions.doc. Even though this is an airwell manual, they both use the same control.
Hope this helps

Remotes won't work

There is a reset button in your remote try to reset it then try the remote to your unit. If it wont work then the receiver board is defective.
