Hi - That phone is not a global phone. For it to work on VZW, it must be a Global phone one a GSM network. Being a CDMA network phone it will only work in CDMA areas, mostly domestic US. If the phone had an external SIM card you could potentially change the SIM card out however that model does not support that option.
try -voicemail password -last 4 digits of your number -billing password if these dont work or you dont want to bother then just call verizon theyll know
Make sure the ear bud isn't going bad, they are generally thin wired and poorly manufactured. Try a different set that is compatible.
If that doesn't fix it, take the battery out of the phone, get some rubbing alcohol and an old toothbrush and clean the headphone port.
And if that doesn't fix it, just get a bluetooth headset. Your pone is compatible and they can be found online for usually around $20. $40 for a descent set.
You neglected to infrome whether 32 or 64 bit if 32 bit The drivers for 32 bit are standard USB handset drivers normally provided by the phone manufacturer (LG) They use the same drivers for many of their phones.. LG VX 6100, VX 7000, VX8000 and VX 8100. Possibly even more
If 64 bit you are out of luck at this time the solution use a 32 bit version of XP without SP2 or with it maybe you get lucky and it work
