Question about JVC Cybercam GR-D70 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I bougth a camcorder (GR-D70) in 2004. I especially look for a JVC because all over the world It's a wellknown producer of consumer electronics. But much to my surprise it doesn't work with windows xp
When i had window 98 things were perfect, besides memory-trouble, sinds I swutcded to windows xp its nothing but troble. it doesn't work in whatever way. It won't make movies with the image mixer.no photo's with the digital photonavigator, nothing, nada, nix, zilch. I think or actually, I am pretty shour there is an expensive peace of softwar necessary. And Jvc has to deliver this. Because one expects from a company like JVC the service reaches beyond the point of average weardown.

You can try the compatibility mode, by right clicking on the setup / or the program itself and setting it on compatibility mode for windows 98.
Other than that see if your camera is detected in device manager.
Right click my computer and select manage, now on the new window, see the left side and find device manager, now look on the right side for your camera, is it listed? does it have a yellow ! or ? Mark on it,? If so what is the status, right click on it and select properties.

You should run the Program Compatibility Wizard before you try other ways of updating your programs or drivers because it identifies compatibility fixes written specifically for Windows XP. If the wizard does not solve your problem, you can try other steps listed at the end of this article.
