I have a White Rodgers thermostat series 1F78-151 that is displaying we at the top?

Hi. This is Aaron Moratalla from White Rodgers. For 1F78-151, "WE" means Wednesday. If left side temperature is stuck at 67F and there's no Hot air coming out then try ressting your thermostat by:
1. set system to Heat mode
2. press simultaneously the Up, Down arrows and Time button for 2sec.
3. the screen should blank out momentarily then show 62F in the right side.
4. set a higher temperature in the right side than the left side of LCD to have a call for heat.

If you are still having problems please don't hesitate to call our Tech Support line at 800-284-2925. Thank you for choosing White Rodgers!

Thank you for your interest with Emerson White Rodgers. My Name is Joselito Laxamana from White- Rodger's. Base on your description you have a system problem not a thermostat issue. You need to contact your installer to check you cool equipment.

Sounds like the system is either over charged with freon or under sized. Call the same people back out ask for a supervisor to come out and check out the system any other company will charge you.

I have a problem with a White rodgers 1C20-101 thermostat. The lower heat setting for room temp goes up to 80 degrees when the thermostat is set at 70 degrees. Is this normal for this type of unit?

The Operating Manuals for many White-Rodgers thermostats can be found in PDF form HERE, however they are not indexed by model number so you will have to download each file in turn until you find the one you want. All of the file names beginning with "0037-" seem to be W-R products.*Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle. IF81-261 TO MAINTAIN 76 DEGRES JUAST SET ON AUTO AND 76 IS THIS CORRECT ITS IN A BAR ? DO I HAE TO PUSH HOLD WHEN THE SPACE GETS TO 76 DEGREES ?I DONT WANT TO USE THE CLOCK SETINGS AS THE HOURS ARE...

First of all this thermostat doesn't have a auto change over feature.

To maintain the desired set point of 76F, is press first the system button to the system that you want either heat or cool and the next step that you need to do is to navigate the UP or DOWN arroes for your desired set point and It should follow that temperature permanently until you cjnage it again.

Temp too high

lamgrimes9,
Welcome to Fizya.,

You said, your Oster wine refrig won't lower its temperature below 76 degrees. I have it for about 5 months, and it worked fine all this time with a setting of 50 degrees. Now it refuses to lower its temp. It reverts back to 76 everytime. Can someone give me any ideas about what is wrong? FYI Mine did not come with an owner's manual.

Sounds like the Thermostat is bad.
