Hi I also have 1.1.4. firmware and I have jailbroken and activated my iphonewith ziphone. After doing this I connected my iphone to my MacBook Prowith leopard and my computer doesn't recognize it. So by this time I don't really care if all my stuff is erased on my iphone. So I put it in recovery mode and try to restore it on my computer but a message pops up and it says there is an error 1604. Will someone please help me? All I want to do is to restore my iphone back to normal.

Re: Can't Restore iphone
I don't know if you are still having this problem but I have a suggestion, instead of using Ziphone to jailbreak your iPhone use Quickpwn. This is a much safer and you'll have a better chance of getting your iPhone jailbroken. It may be the firmware that you are trying to install.

You will need to jailbreak your phone and unlock it again.
restore your phone to 1.1.3 download ZiPhone (http://www.ziphone.org/) run ziphone -j (check for options to unlock your phone) If you don't have options there, you can install "anysim" from the "installer" app that will appear on any jailbroken iphone
The version of ZiPhone that you used has been replaced with a new version (several new versions in the last few days).
Restore your phone to 1.1.3, download the latest ZiPhone (v2.3) from http://www.ziphone.org/ and rerun the program with the -j option. DO NOT run with -a. After you have jailbroken your phone, reconnect to itunes and have itunes do the activation. At this point, everything will be working. If not, let me know and I'll help you out.
