Question about Wacom Intuos3 Graphic Tablet
My tablet was working perfectly fine for almost half a year and then, just this last week it stopped working. When an error about the drivers not responding occurred, I sent it to Apple and restarted. The preferences menu wouldn't find the tablet. I restarted and tried again, and still it would not work right. I reinstalled the drivers from the disk that came with my tablet and that worked for a day. Today, I went to use my tablet and my system preferences, at first, it said something along the lines of having drivers for the tablet that did not match. I restarted and when system preferences said that it could not find my tablet, I downloaded and installed the newest drivers from Wacom. I repaired permissions and restarted. I still have had no luck. My drivers and my operating system are both up to date....
Can anyone help?
I have a similar problem with the Wacom Intuous 4 (CTE). Worked fine on Tiger, need to continuously reinstall the driver on Leopard. Sometimes it can be found, other times Leopard says it is not there. I have removed the application as per Wacom support, repaired permissions, reinstalled the driver and repaired permissions again and it will work as long as I do not shut down my computer. I put it in stand by every night and every morning the tablet is not there. This is getting tiresome.
I had the same problem. Repairing permissions didn't help, but deleting old software and reinstalling new WACOM software did. Thank you, Swedey! :o)

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello, you have to update the tablet driver for every client using it... As the tablet is USB, it needs the driver updated on every Mac. If you need the Standard accounts to have the updated driver, you can temporarily change the account settings in the System Preferences to Administrator privileges
