Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

Open Question

Connection issues with the logitech cordless optical mouse

I have a relatively old version of a logitech cordless mouse and it is not connecting properly. I moved it from one computer to another, both keyboard and mouse worked beautifully at the old location, now only the keyboard works. When I press connect on the reciever, the mouses red light on the underside of it blinks, and I am not sure if this means it's broken or what. It would be great if I could get some help.

Thanks

Try clicking on the left mouse button. I have a relative with a wireless mouse and found that it sometimes loses connection and that clicking on the mouse button 'woke it up' and started working again.

No, the drivers will only support windows XP at the lowest.

But windows ME will support a standard serial mouse, which are still available, the drivers are already installed.

The warrenty period is usually a year. Is there a connection button on the receiver as well? Normally you need to press the connect button on the mouse, and then on the receiver shortly there after. If you want to replace it, you might have an easier time just getting a new mouse.
