Question about Refrigerators
This is similiar to another posted problem and i will give a similiar reply
there is really nothing in a freezer to cause unpleasant ice - its made of stainless steel, plastics and like tasteless materials
you must look to another source for the problem i think like contamination of the incoming water. this can happen especially if water feed is from a header tank not direct from mains
