Strummer Bar Guitar Hero

Not working properly...strumming on time, but not registering. Would this need a strummer switch or strummer assembly please?

Thank you.

Don't know bout xbox or ps but on wii i had this problem too. I fixed it by going to "options" from main menu, then to "calibrate lag". it then gives you 2 simple tests to do - one audio and one visual, and it calibrates the guitar for you. Very simple and it works! Best bit is Activision had already snt me a replaement guitar so now I have 2 and can play bass with my mates!

I have heard a lot about broken strummers with the guitar hero but it is an easy fix with my guide here http://rapidshare.com/files/18... and I also sell the switches http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI... with world wide postage.

My wii Guitar Hero controller seems to strum of its own accord in the middle of a song... is this a sensitivity issue, and if so any ideas on how to fix it?

You may need to dis-assemble the guitar to ensure that no damage has occoured to the strum bar internally as sometimes when this gets over used it has a habit to randomly strum on its own. Good Luck.

I hope this will work for you.

Go to the Options menu then Calibrate Guitar and synchronize your guitar. I guess this will work.

Guitar hero wii controller plays notes of its own accord

I had the exact same problem on the wii guitar before, and tried replacing it which did no good. Then I realized on the solo part the touch slider was what kept strumming itself, so I turned off the slider and it worked! To turn off the touch slider, you have to go into a song and go to options and turn it off, which will keep it turned off until you change it. I'm not sure why it does it, I guess dust gets on it or something.

Hopefully this helps and have fun! :D

Wont strum down

Remove the strummer by pullling upwards and outwards gently until you here a faint click. Either re-insert and try again or replace the strummer. Would probs cost about £10.

Wireless guitar strummer on wii repeatedly breaks

Well the strumming by itself is due to the touch slider strumming by itself. Try going into any song and going into options and turning off the touch slider. This will keep the touch slider off until you change it back, so you don't have to do this every time.

Guitar not working properly

Check the D-pad on the guitar. Sometimes it can get stuck slightly and can count for accidental strumming. Also be sure to keep the button pressed firmly when playing chords. It is very sensitive to touch.

Wii guitar hero guitar

It sounds like the wine has caused a "sticky" situation under the strummer. If you feel like you are up to it, you could take the back off of the guitar with a torx wrench (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_10664), and then clean the components with a very damp cloth.

Do this at your own risk. Be careful. Oh, yeah... be sure you've unplugged it before you start. :)
