Strummer Bar Guitar Hero

Not working properly...strumming on time, but not registering. Would this need a strummer switch or strummer assembly please?

Thank you.

Don't know bout xbox or ps but on wii i had this problem too. I fixed it by going to "options" from main menu, then to "calibrate lag". it then gives you 2 simple tests to do - one audio and one visual, and it calibrates the guitar for you. Very simple and it works! Best bit is Activision had already snt me a replaement guitar so now I have 2 and can play bass with my mates!

I have heard a lot about broken strummers with the guitar hero but it is an easy fix with my guide here http://rapidshare.com/files/18... and I also sell the switches http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI... with world wide postage.

Guitar hero 3 wii controller

I would recommend returning the controller, this has been a known issue on some of the earlier revisions of Guitar Hero controllers. They should be able to send it off for repairs or replace it.

My strum bar for Guitar Hero 3 isn't working anymore !!! We powered everything off and back on and checked the connections. We still have the problem. Any ideas ?

Try going to "redoctane.com" Activision is only the distributor, and fix it. redoctane will. They're a little sticky on their "guidelines" for the warranty though. They want the original receipt. I can't find the receipt 5 minutes after I get home. Let alone 2 months later. If you still have it you're golden. If not try arguing with them, they'll probably fix it for you. apparently it's an on going problem they're having. Good luck

this helped me fix my problems with the yellow and blue buttons giving out. now my only problems left is that the strum bar wont strum down. only up. but at least the yellow and blue seem to be working again! ( 97% on cult of personality on hard with strumming only up. so im sure the buttons are fixed.)

My guitar wont work properly

my scroll bar does the same thing sometimes, it moves up and down uncontrolably without me doing anything. i just recomend restarting and making sure the connections are all right. after i did that it seemed to work fine, but maybe if it keeps happening then you may need to replace it!!

Xbox360 guitar hero2 controller

You have a bad control, in this case. Go to RedOctane's site for warranty service: http://www.redoctane.us/support-center/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&id=61

If you should actually be using the Rock Band Fender Stratocaster control, it will not work with Guitar Hero and, furthermore, this issue has been reported to exist with early runs of this control. Rock Band issues can be resolved here: http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/rockband.php

The strum button is uncontrolable

Hey Omega,

Seems like the controller may just be faulty.

The only thing I can think of, is to turn off the console, and then make sure none of the buttons are being pressed when starting it up, and then turn it on. If it's still doing it, I recommend getting a new controller.
