Question about GPS
The socket on mine came loose. Opened up, it's apparent that the contacts are so fine nothing normal will solder them. The contacts seem to be by super glue when examined under a magnifying glass. Tried to re-glue, result failed no good. Its scrap.

I had the same problem, turns out that it was a flat battery, which was caused by the usb socket on the gps. The socket was loose and not allowing the battery to be charged.
The usb socket on mine is now not attached as it came completely loose. You may have to get a Tech to resolder it for you.
