Problem with wifi driver for acer asp...
can you please help me with the driver for wi-fi for my acer aspire 4715z. i have already downloaded the drivers and installed them but the wi-fi is still not working. also, i downgraded the OS from windows vista to windows xp and i could not find a driver for wi-fi that would work for it. thanks.

Welcome to fixya
try going to driversupdate.org and see if you can down load there program and try to run it ....it helps alot on the driver updates and things like that and it is easy to use

This is very common problem for the new computers, they can not be retro-fitted to XP for the drivers were not designed for XP, only vista.
I would strongly suggest putting the computer back to Vista, and then the hardware that was installed on that computer will work its best. Since Service Pack 1 has been released for Vista most of Vista's 1st problems have been solved.
