Cant get onto Zyxel

Agni: i changed my ip to both the above and that didn't work.

devidox: i did the power cycling didn't work as well as reset button (i tried this with my ip changed, and with my ip to normal).

I did the command prompt only ip assigned to the default gateway was the routers ip 192.168.0.1, if i type this in i only end up into the routers config. ps we are using a billion.

I also went onto the router and had a look of all the IPs that its picking up and non of them work.

My current setting for the WLAN is Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1

any suggestions plz?

Change your conputer IP addres to 192.168.1.3

then open a web browser then open this address
192.168.1.2

then password default of theZyxel is 1234

then configure it....

Is this a new machine straight out of the box ?

Try power cycling the machine by unplugging it and waiting about thirty seconds before you plug it back in. Now try using the ip addresses above. You might also look for a reset button and try that as well.

If you go into the command prompt, and then type ipconfig /all what ip address is assigned to the default gateway ? Try using that ip as well.

Write back if this doesn't help and we'll go from there.
