If the lights are blinking when the the fan is on, the blinking is probably caused by vibration of the fan running. Which may indicate a loose wiring connection within the light kit housing. Or the light kit is not wired properly to the fan. In any event, the only way to check this is start taking the light kit apart were it attaches to the fan and search for loose connections (wire nuts). If none are found, continue to the electrical connections where the fan is mounted to the ceiling. If the light kit is controlled by a dimmer switch on the wall, the dimmer switch may also be the culprit. Be sure to turn the circuit breaker off to the line that feeds the fan before attempting any repairs.
