Question about LG KU990 Viewty
I am trying to connect my recently purchased LG viewty to my PC via the USB cable provided. The USB connection mode is currently set to 'Data Service' per manual instructions. When I try to connect using the Connection Wizard module in the LG PC Suite, it goes undetected ("Failed to connect the mobile phone to the PC").
I also attempted to connect using the other USB connection modes but was unsuccessful. In particular when I choose 'mass storage device' and tried to connect it returned the error message on my phone "Insert memory card for connecting as mass storage".
It's quite possible I'm missing something trivial here so any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated :)
Hi, I just had the exact same problem..
I tried like FOREVER and I even said, if this try doesnt work; i'm giving up, and then... it finally worked.. haha :) so, this is what I did.
(dont connect your phone yet but set your phone as data service) You open the program LG pc suite, and then click connection wizard > usb > and then here, you connect the both ends of the usb.. one end on your pc and the other on your phone, and then you press next. Hopefully it says something like Com Port Number and Phone Model. You click next and finish. So, now you are connected to the phone to your pc. To get photos to your pc, you click content. images. and copy and paste to where you like (pictures in your pc) and then your done :D this also goes to other files too :D
I hope this really helped because I just learned it few minutes ago and I was about to scream because I tried so many ways. Hope this helped and Good Luck :D
