there's a default settings in your remote try to reset the remote , or maybe you just forgot to read the operating manual before using it. from there you'll find the answer with the remote problem.

Press the MENU button on the remote
control, then use the UP/DOWN arrow
button to select the Special menu.
Press the RIGHT arrow button to activate
the Special menu.
Use the UP/DOWN arrow button to
choose Key lock, then press the RIGHT
arrow button.
Use the UP/DOWN arrow button to select
On or Off.
Press EXIT button to save and return to
TV viewing or press the MENU button to
save and return to the previous menu.
