Was cooking something in oven last night that caused a lot of steam to come out of vent. It seems to have shorted out the clock and now there is nothing on the display. Without the display I cannot use the oven (although stove top works just fine). Is this a matter of just changing the fuse?

I always recommend
that you use the vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove
top to keep heat, steam, and
grease out of the controls and door panels.
If it does not dry out
over time, it may need to be manually dried or blown out.
The keypad may be
damaged or worn out, or control unit may be damaged.
Keypad failure can cause it to come on by itself, which can lead to a fire.

The same thing happened to ours last night. We went to add another minute of cooking time and realized the oven was dead - no clock, no display of any kind, and no more cooking!
We have the same problem with our lmvh1750st lg brand, there is 5 settings and alot of noise and airflow out the top. Very little from the bottom actually seems to go into the vent. We are very disatisfied with this and find during normal cooking we have very little help from the vent hood.
So far so good we unplugged the machine took the filters off the bottom let everything dry out over night and it seems to be working I'll update you tomorrow. I think the steam got the control pannel wet.
There is a overtemperature device inside that is shuting you down until
things cool off. Take the cover off and clean up everything as
much as possible. Grease from the cooking can get all over
everything inside and collect dust buildup enough to obstruct the
airflow and cause overheting.
