- i have the same problem as well and I tried to reset it (menu and center button at the same time) before putting it into the dock and it did not solve the issue. I also tried resetting it while the iPod was docked, and again nothing was fixed. Any other ideas?- E TolentinoOct 01, 2008

I had this same problem. I reset my I pod using the directions on www.apple.com/support and it works fine now. Maybe it will fix yours too. fingers crossed!

Yeah, At first i had the same problem. I reset the iPod by pressing and holding the MENU button and the CENTER button. This seemed 2 fix it 4 me.
