Question about Washing Machines
If the door does not lock the controller will not allow the motor to spin. If unplug the machine and then take off the door and front cover you will see the motor control board on the bottom at the right. If you unplug the white connector facing the front of the machine that has (5) wires on it, then place the machine on the DELAY setting, press in and hold the DOOR button, then press the START button, the drum will spin normally. If it does not or makes unusual noises the motor controller needs to be replaced. If it spins normally, the wax motor (which locks the door) and likely some of it's driver components on the main logic board need to be replaced.
