My Pioneer SA-1510 Won't put out any sound. I was wondering what the most common reason would be for this to happen. I was thinking mabe there is a bad node?

I had the same problem only mine was VERY frequent (about twice/hour). I finally fixed it by taking off the cover and removing the MUTING button which I never used anyway. Remove the button that sticks through the front panel only - no wiring. The MUTING button is between the balance and volume controls. This reduced the problem from twice/hour to about once/year (we have it on severaly hours every day).

Mine sometimes cuts when i am in the middle of listning to music .  i have discoverd that hitting it below the meter equilizer clicks it back on......  or... you dont have the plugs that go into the adapter socket.

How to hook up external amp need to know how to run jacks to the amp and speakers which out put for amp to run the front speakers on a panasonic sa-he70

Manuals help.

Register and download the manual for free at

Not knowing anything about your 'external' amp or how you want it to function the only thing you could do is feed it the analog stereo output of the SA-HE70 from one of its OUTs (Tape or VCR). It won't be volumed-controlled by the SA-HE70.

How do i connect a pioneer tx-940 to a pioneer

You need two RCA-to-RCA cables (or one double-cable). Connect the L(eft) Output on the tuner to the L(eft) Tuner or Aux(iliary) input on the SA-1040. Connect the R(ight) tuner Output to the correcponding amplifier input.

Amp problem, blown channel?

Congratulations, the Pioneer SA-900 is already a classic, a legendary pre-amp/amp unit. It is not as high powered as today models but certainly can hold its own. Offhand, there would be three (3) ways you can attend to the concern:
  • perform a DIY (do-it-yourself);
  • seek the services of a reputable audio shop;
  • seek the services of a professional classic audio equipment restorer.
Should you be considering a DIY, it might be to your advantage to have access to a service manual. This of course requires familiarity with electronic components and circuitry, use of a DVM and a soldering iron.

This might be informative.

Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
