I've had my Olympus FE-340 for 3 years, and I've never had any problems with it before. Now, whenever I try to zoom in, the camera takes white pictures or pictures with streaks in them. I've tried reseting...

I have exactly the same problem. I am writing an email to Olympus for further advice. I beleive there is some replacement policy as this seems to be a manufacturer problem.

Olympus FE-330 won't turn on..... URGENT!

If it is a rechargeable battery, it may be bad. Start with that first. If your camera will accept standard AA batteries try those too. (just to test) Your 330 requires a LI42B or LI40B battery.
Check page 47 of your manual. Tells you about the battery. Your described problem sure points to a bad battery. Don't have the manual?? Download it here free.
Thats a nice camera you have.

My olympus camera wont take pictures

It sounds as if the lens mechanism is damaged, and when it tries to protract it fails and shuts down.

When you just switch to camera mode, I would try helping the lens come out to get it loose.

If all fails, send in it to be serviced, but expect to pay no less than $80 to get this problem fixed.

Hope I helped,
Tom

Blury pictures

When operating any digital camera, the camera tries to capture the best focus and exposure for that particular scene. By pressing the shutter button half-way down, the focus and exposure is being set. There will be a green circle on the upper left hand corner of the screen, then your camera is ready to take the picture. Slowly depress the shutter the rest of the way down to take the picture.

CAMERA WON'T TAKE PICTURES?

i don't know what age the camera is, did you try full batteries , normally it shouldn't do this it must have a defect if the batteries are not the problem..
