Question about Electrolux Washing Machines

Open Question

Electrolux Front load Washer EWF880. The End light is flashing 2 which according to the manual the water is not drained. The washing machine seems to be washing but t is not rinsig and spinning very well. With this model is it very difficult to tell if it is washing or spinning as the function light comes on and it does not say wash or rinse. I can't identify where the machine is going wrong ie if it is the rinse or spin cycle.

SOURCE: Will not run wash properly

The sensor you are referring to could posslbly be the water level switch which controlls the level of water, and also. is a factor as to wether the washer will spin or not, it also is part of the heater circuit, so it has numerous functions.
I t can be found at the top right front of the washer, and is about 3" in diameter, and has a thin plastic tube going to it.
it could be sticking, there is no sure fire way of testing it properly, but you could try tapping it and blowing down the tube, it may solve the prob.
Hope this helps.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.

Electrolux washer -dryer water not going into machine

Firstly we will need some more info. Does anything happen when you press start? Can you do a drain only? A spin only? Any countdowns, display info or flashing lights? Have you got hot and cold water connections and have you tried both settings?

If when you start the washer and everything is in place for your washer to fill and no water enters then it is the solenoid valve (water inlet valve) On a front load washer remove the top cover and you will see it clearly at the rear. They are fairly cheap, also check that the filters in the hose connection of the valve are clear.

All lights flashing

Possible that the main controller board has hung up or there is a memory fault. Remove power to the washer for some hours and try. If you notice any moisture within use a dryer to clear, You need to remove the cover and get access to the main board.
Also check and drain filters, if clogged the function will not end and it can show this symptom.
Finally check water flow and door switch connectivity.

My Electrolux front load washer does not fill with water in the rise cycle and beeps and displays "draining, no water"

If this is a brand new product, I suggest that you MUST call for warranty assistance from their depot.
This can be related to failure or error of the controller, fault in the inlet or water level sensor which must be done free of cost.

Electrolux washer door won't open

Hi.

Usually the door does not open because there is water inside the tub.

Disconnect power and empty the machine through the drain filter. With Electrolux front-loading washers the drain filter access is located in the front lower side of the machine.

Our front load kenmore washer is not draining properly at the end of the wash cycle. At the end of the wash cycle it sounds like it is trying to drain but it does not even spin. Then it seems to run water...

Hi

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Do I need 2" drain for frontload washer?

not nessarily if your draining system can handle a non-efficent washer the old top load style drain 42.3 gal of water evey time it fills and for a complete cyc on the h-3 washer only 14 for a complete cyc. When the unit is in the high spin all of the water is already drained and what little water is spun out of the clothing in nothitng to worry about
