Question about Akai PT5598HD 55" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
My television is only 4 yrs old, the problem I have is the other night I had a power surge, and the power was momentarly knock out, when power was supplied to the television nothing seemed wrong. When we awoke the next day, the television was out of focus, I tried the automatic convergence it went through it's process and nothing happened. I then tried to manually adjust the color and nothing moved I decided to called the television repairman the next day, He replaced both convergence modules, and when I turned the TV back on the same problem existed. how can i fixs this problem?
He may have replaced the IC's but in this business you always run across a bad order. use this link http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?cat=2954 to order everything you need. They do a very good job at putting together a package for the consumer to be able to fix there television. You will recieve convergence IC's, resistors, thermal paste, and step by step photo instrucions.
