Can you wash in cold water only

Yes , you can look into the program and find an easy economical quick wash which will has a fast wash with cold water, rinse and short drying cycle.
The normal/regular wash uses the heater as with warm water the dirt comes off well and is sterilised wheras in cold wash the average dirt might go off but not as clean as in a hot wash.
So you can use the programs as required for the clothes in question.

Dishwasher flashes on Fast Wash

I am hoping I have just fixed mine with same problem. Couple weeks ago started stopping at start of cycle with fast button flashing. Check filters so one on top of unside machine and one on tap if you have one on there. Mine were blocked but still wouldnt work. I pulled out machine to find a kink in the water pipe. I have straightened this out and up to now its working. Fast button flashing refers to water inlet problem.
