These phones work on about 8 NEC phone systems, but most are just newer versions of the same system. So, most likely the callback feature has been activated. Someone internally calls you, you don't answer, they dial # to activate callback. You come back to your phone, see feature key flashing, lift handset, dial #, call goes to whoever set callback, then feature key stops blinking.
I am quoting a solution provided in another related problem:
Hi,
I think this is probably a completely unrelated problem/solution, but I
want to throw it out there just in case. I have a different phone - a
Samsung Trance, and I had the same problem. One day, suddenly everytime I
viewed a text message, my phone would either call back the number or
flash "No Callback # Available", and it drove me nuts since I couldn't
view any text message. I also couldn't hear calls or listen to music on
my phone. In the end, it ended up being an earphone problem because
everything worked again after I plugged in and then unplugged the
earphone.
Like I said, my problem is probably unrelated and I apologize if this
was not helpful at all, but you could try checking out your earphones
and see how it goes.
Please tell me whats the make and model of the camera so that I can help you with your problem. Also let me know if you are able to use the camera functions when the "H" appears.
This sounds like you have a call back message active on your phone, The callback is a through back to the days before we had Voice-mail, if you wanted a person to call you back you could activate their message light by pressing your message key while the called phone was ringing. To remove the light you would lift your handset and press the message key then select which party you wished to "callback", once the call was answered at the other end the light would be extinguished. Give this a try, I bet you will be surprised at the results.
