Question about Polaroid Cameras

1 Answer

My camera is displaying card error. I purchased a new card and it is still saying card error. I took it to Walgreens and the associate put one of their cards in my camera and it showed their pictures. The card in my camera did not work in the print machine ant Walgreen. The new card I purchased is showing card error as well.

These have to have an SD (not SD-HR) card that is 2 GB or under. You then have to format it by going to the setup menu and selecting format, while the card is in the camera. Just had to deal with this today and that was the solution.

Sometimes I have difficulty snapping a card in it's place. It feels like my fingernails aren't long enough. Try using something to be sure you are pressing it far enough in.

Seeing as the printer was working before you had it filled at Walgreens, I would have to say that there is a problem with the cartridge, buy a new one and if it doesn't work try to find a new Lexmark that can use this cartridge!

Sounds like you're switching the same card between cameras. Rule #1...one card per camera. Format the card in the camera it is to be used in. There is no Rule #2.

Power Shot A630 says card locked, will not take or delete pics

There is a switch on the side of the SD card, slide to unlock position then go to the SETUP menu, format the card (before doing that, make sure you have saved all pictures from the SD card to your computer)

Camera says card write protected

I just figured it out- on my memory card there's a small "switch" on the left hand side that you can slide up and down. Make sure that this is up the top, not down towards where it says Lock. If it's down, this makes the card Write Protected.

Exilim camera, PNY optima SDHC memory card error

Hi

  1. 1 Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  2. 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  3. 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  4. 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  5. 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  6. 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.
