Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
I have a Phillips 60" rear Projection about 6-7 years old. Over the last 4 months the color has started to fade and keeps getting darker and darker. I thought the lenses were covered in dust so I removed the rear cover and cleaned them.
After trying it again, its still the same. It has to be some kind of "color tube" or something thats making it go dim.
Any suggestions? Other than the "well, lets replace this and see if thats the problem".
You need to replace the coolant in thr CRTs( picture tubes) Vert common problem in phillips. You can get the enitre repair kit at the following link which has the coolant and instruction CD for phillips coolanrt change. Heres the link its under the repair kit section.
