How do i turn on my mp3 vibe 4g - Philips GoGear ViBE Digital Media Player

Turn the Vibe on and then connect it to your desktop/laptop computer using the USB cable. It will be recognized by the computer as a removable drive. Transfer (copy/paste) mp3 music files from your computer to the Vibe. Disconnect the Vibe from the computer (the proper way to do it is to highlight it in your Windows Explorer, right click on it with your mouse and from the menu that pops up select 'Eject' or 'Disconnect'. After that, you can physically remove the Vibe from your computer). Using the controls on the Vibe, select any of the mp3 files you just transferred and play it. You can go through the same process with photos and videos.

If you had immediately removed the battery and not tried to turn it on until it was completely and thoroughly dry, there might be a chance its still usable. Otherwise yes, it's time to get a new one.

Straight from the Philip's website: "To turn off your player, you can push and hold the power slider to again until Bye appears."

does media player see it??? if not, clean the connection with alcohol and a q-tip (make sure that there isn't power on the cable before you do this)

No. As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly put it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The easiest way is to burn the music to an audio CD and then rip it back to Windows Media Player or a similar program as an MP3. Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone to do this. Though not free, it is very well worth a try.

It may have come to the end of its life.
Mp3s don't really last forever.
Hopefully for you , this may not be the case.
Things you could try is checking the battery.
