Rand McNally has amazingly improved their customer support. Call 800-333-0136. They will try to fix the problem or issue you RMA if your unit is still under warranty.
When you power on your device do you have a blue Progress bar along the bottom of the screen?
If yes, to correct the issue please perform a Diagnostics & Repair using the Rand McNally Dock. Step by step instructions can be found at - http://www.randmcnally.com/support/s/diagnose-and-repair
If the Rand McNally Dock does not find an issue with any files, the repair fails, or the Diagnostics & Repair does resolve your issue, please call technical support for additional assistance.
If there is no progress bar, the unit will need to be sent in for repair.
Please call Rand McNally Tech Support to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
