After using self clean yesterday the oven doesnt work today

Sometimes the extreme heat from self clean cycle causes electronics problems. Make sure self clean is turned off and door lock is fully disengaged.

There is a sensor/switch that sends a signal that the oven door is locked and that it is unlocked, it must be defective.

The oven gets extremely hot during the self-cleaning mode... the door switch might have got stuck in locked position, or broken in locked position (to be replaced), let's hope it's just stuck...which you'll need to work the mechanical lock-unlock latching back and forth to hopefully unstick....and if that doesn't work just re-run self-cleaning process but this time let the oven cool completely before unlocking the door. Self Cleaning

1 Remove oven racks and soak them in soapy water.

2 Turn on your automatic oven cleaner; this usually entails locking the door and turning the function switch to "clean."

3 Let the oven do its work;it will heat for several hours, charring off baked-on foods.

Fast Cleaning

1 Remove oven racks and place them in soapy water to soak.

2 Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

3 Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaner.

4 Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

5 Wipe the cleaner and dirt away with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently.

6 Dry with a soft cloth.

oven don't stay on and it takes a long time to heat up

could be the oven thermostat, get a plumber/heating engineer out, but make sure you can trust him, cause he could try and say u need a new cooker when it MIGHT only be a new oven thermostat.

try to hold down the light switch on the door set it up for another cleaning hit start when oven clean door lock showes hit cancel if that doesnt work try unplugging it for three min fyi the doors can take up to an hour to un lock after cleaning its so it dont burn your face off from the intense heat after cleaning some take 2
